Founded in 1939, Dietz & Watson Company calls Philadelphia home. Today they are one of the largest preparers of premium deli meats in the United States. It is incredible to learn that after 80 years in business Dietz & Watson is still family owned and operated, now in its fourth generation. One thing that has ensured their success over the years is their ability to stay ahead of trends and continuously innovate. Throughout the years Dietz and Watson have strived to bring consumers new and delicious deli meats and cheeses. From the beginning, Dietz and Watson have been committed to providing products that are both tasty as well as healthy. They only use the highest quality hand trimmed, lean meats. Dietz and Watson Sliced Meats
In the mid-1990’s the Dietz & Watson line was made up of more than 60 deli meats that exceeded USDA, and FDA standards for healthy eating. Last year Dietz and Watson expanded their range of healthy deli meats and cheeses to bring you “Originals,” a line of deli meats and cheeses with No Antibiotics Ever, and No Hormones. The response to the Originals line has been overwhelmingly positive so far, and they hope to expand the range to include more options in the coming year.
In addition to health, Dietz and Watson also considers the environmental impact of their business and prefer to work with responsible farmers who maintain the highest standards of animal husbandry and set the bar high for sustainable business practices.
